Development news archive, September 2025: This article followed Bloomberg's report of financing for Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride. The project is in Mountain Village, a separate municipality in the Telluride region. Financing and construction milestones do not mean residences are complete or currently available.

Bloomberg's September 24, 2025 report was the original news source. CanAm's September 26 announcement described a $1 billion development by Merrimac Ventures and Fort Partners, with a $417 million JPMorgan Chase construction loan and $162 million of CanAm financing.
CanAm described this as a move into construction and characterized it as the region's first luxury resort and residential project in more than 15 years. That is the developer-financing announcement's characterization, not proof that no other local development occurred during that period. The loan amount, additional financing and total project value are distinct figures.

The announcement described a 4.4-acre site. The September 30, 2025 Four Seasons announcement confirms three distinct categories:
The room and residence categories should not be added together and described as homes available for individual purchase. The September 2025 materials highlighted views toward Mount Wilson, Campbell Peak and Palmyra Peak. An individual unit's view, orientation and access depend on its actual location and plans.
The advertised amenities include ski valet service, a fitness center, spa, indoor lap pool and outdoor hot tub. The Four Seasons residential page, checked September 28, 2026, continues to list 2028 as its opening date and names Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures as developers. It also describes ski access and a private ski lounge.
These are published plans and a target date, subject to the development process and controlling documents. The renderings retained above illustrate the intended design; they do not document a finished home or completed amenity. Ask which facilities would be available at the closing and occupancy dates in your agreement.
CanAm's September 2025 announcement reported that more than 30% of residences had sold and remaining pricing began around $4 million. Those are dated marketing figures, not today's inventory, a current minimum price or evidence of a completed resale return. Request the current offering, unit-specific price, deposit schedule, assessments and purchase terms directly.
The original article attributed to Anne-Britt Ostlund a view that the project could expand the area's new-construction choices. That perspective is distinct from a promise of appreciation or a once-in-a-generation investment result. A brand name and a large construction loan do not remove completion, financing, ownership-cost or resale risks.
