Telluride Theatre’s July 2024 announcement brought Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to the Town Park Stage. This page preserves that production notice, its story, and the people credited in the original announcement. For current performances and ticket availability, visit Telluride Theatre.
The original notice listed July 20–28, 2024, with no performance on July 25. The advertised start time was 8 p.m. at the Telluride Town Park Stage, 500 E Colorado Avenue. These dates belong to the archived production and are not a current ticket offer.
At the center of the comedy is Viola, who survives a shipwreck and disguises herself as a young man named Cesario. Duke Orsino sends Cesario to court Olivia on his behalf, but Olivia falls for the messenger. Viola’s disguise creates a love triangle that turns questions of identity, affection, and misunderstanding into the play’s comedy.
The outdoor Town Park setting was part of the original invitation to experience the story during Telluride’s summer Shakespeare in the Park series. For a future outdoor production, the theatre’s own event page should control arrival instructions, accessibility, weather decisions, and ticket terms.
The notice credited Carter Gill as director and Jen Wineman as adapter. Its cast list named Miguel Ambriz, Julia Caulfield, Sasha Cucciniello, Jacob Haslem, Callista Hattler, Carly Hodes, Carl McMahon, Ursula Ostrander, Niko Pantovich-Gonzalez, Sam Young, Tom Shane, and James Van Hooser. Those credits describe the 2024 announcement rather than a current cast.
