The Telluride Historical Museum’s September 7, 2024 Hike into History featured the Eider Creek to Mill Creek Connector Loop with Telluride Mountain Club. This archive preserves the route and programme described in the original notice. The event has passed; use the museum’s current calendar for new programmes.

The museum’s original event page listed a 9 a.m. meeting at the bottom of Mill Creek Road, just beyond the Shell station. It described a 3.7-mile loop with 859 feet of elevation gain and classified that event route as moderate.
The programme highlighted a connector completed in 2022, linking the first switchback on Mill Creek Road and Eider Creek Trail with the Deep Creek and Waterline/Mill Creek trail intersection. The historical focus was the development of the local trail system and Telluride Mountain Club’s work.
The original page encouraged registration and listed the museum’s telephone number, 970-728-3344. An earlier version of this real-estate article incorrectly supplied Mountain Rose Realty’s email for event registration. For future dates, prices, availability, and participation questions, contact the Telluride Historical Museum through its official website.
The archived distance and difficulty description are not a current condition report or a suitability assessment for every walker. Check current access information, weather, terrain, and the organizer’s requirements before joining another outing. See Telluride Mountain Club’s access updates for reported trail issues.
