The chart reports February homes-for-sale counts from 2017 through 2024: 1,151,120; 1,045,153; 1,102,660; 928,343; 464,919; 346,511; 579,264; and 664,716. It is a national series, and it does not show the inventory or competition for a Telluride-area buyer today.
More choices in a national count do not automatically make a particular home easier to find. A current search depends on property type, price range, condition, access, buyer financing, ownership costs, and the active local alternatives.

The largest count on the chart is February 2017 at 1,151,120 and the smallest is February 2022 at 346,511. The 2024 count of 664,716 was higher than 2023’s 579,264 but below the earlier years shown. That historical national comparison cannot show how many suitable homes are available in a particular Telluride-area category today.
A buyer’s current decision benefits from a fresh local search rather than an extrapolation from the archived national series.
