This September 26, 2024 archive retains the Telluride Tourism Board update for September 26–October 2. The lodging narrative included a two-week outlook extending beyond the title's week, and its air section described then-planned winter 2024–25 service.
For the next two weeks, destination total occupancy was reported at 48%, 6% ahead of the equivalent 2023 period. Paid occupancy was up 5%, while ADR was $380, down 5%. The forecast peak was 66% on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The $380 rate applies to that two-week reporting window, not solely to the week in the title.
September was still projected to close below 2023: total occupancy down 8%, paid occupancy down 13% and ADR down 8%. October total occupancy was pacing 3% ahead while paid occupancy was 2% behind. Total occupancy and paid occupancy measure different use, so those two directions are not contradictory.
For winter 2024–25, advance total occupancy was pacing 15% ahead, paid occupancy 9% ahead and ADR 1% lower. March showed the largest reported growth at 24%, and December the smallest at 8%. These figures compare booking pace with the prior season, not final occupied nights.

September air bookings were reported 5–7% ahead; October was approximately even to slightly ahead. Overall summer bookings were 10–12% ahead, including noted local usage on added Denver capacity. Winter capacity was then expected to be nearly identical to winter 2023–24.
The announced Breeze route linked Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) with Orange County/Santa Ana (SNA). It was not a TEX flight. Separately, the update described Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) shoulder service to Denver daily and Phoenix Thursday through Sunday, with advertised fares from $129 each way. TEX is an airport code, not “Telluride Express.” The original schedule and fare announcements are historical.
