September 18–24, 2025 archive. This post preserves a Tourism Board update from that reporting period. Figures, schedules and outlook language below are historical reporting, not current operating, booking, or real-estate guidance. For current travel information, use Telluride Tourism Board.
The original update reported next-two-week destination occupancy of 50%, 10% ahead year over year, and ADR 8% higher. It projected a 64% peak for Saturday, September 27. For May 22–October 19, it described occupancy as flat to the preceding summer with ADR pacing 2% behind; it said May through July had closed flat to behind and later months were pacing slightly ahead. For the then-upcoming December 1–April 5 winter period, it reported occupancy pacing 10% higher year over year and ADR 7% lower, while also noting that three-month-out numbers could shift.

The bulletin described full-season summer air traffic as even to down one or two points year over year and up 12% compared with two years earlier. It separately reported August down 4–5%, September up 2% and October flat to slightly down at that reporting date. It announced Saturday Southwest flights from Nashville in March and a then-planned October 6–10 TEX closure with Denver Air service via MTJ and a shuttle from TEX; the original directed questions to Denver Air Connection at 866-373-8513. These were operating and schedule statements for that period, not current flight guidance.

The article attributed the following estimates to an RRC–CU Leeds School of Business study: air service drove nearly 60% of tourism economic activity and 50% of all economic activity in San Miguel County; it supported 62% of tourism jobs and 50% of all jobs; and the county economy was estimated as 80% or more tourism-based. The archived bulletin does not reproduce the study date, methods, denominator, or underlying data. These are retained as attributed historical estimates, not current measurements or evidence of a property outcome.
