This archive preserves the Telluride Tourism Board lodging and air update published September 18, 2024. Booking, fare, and schedule references describe that reporting period and are not current availability.
According to the original Telluride Tourism Board update, Blues and Brews weekend closed similar to 2023, with a 1% decrease in total occupancy (paid and owner) at 71%, a 2% decrease in paid occupancy, and a flat average daily rate (ADR) of $621. The following two weeks were pacing 5% behind in total occupancy at 46%. October total occupancy through October 20 was pacing 3% ahead of the prior year while paid occupancy was flat.
The same September 2024 update described a winter forecast with total occupancy pacing 15% ahead of the prior season, an 8% increase in paid occupancy, and a 3% decrease in ADR. It reported the most growth in March (24% ahead) and the least in December (9% ahead). These were booking-pace observations and forecasts at publication, not current conditions.
The archived update said late-summer bookings were 5–7% up for September, October was even to just ahead year over year, and summer overall was up 10–12%. It also described the then-upcoming 2024–25 schedule and a newly announced Breeze route between Montrose (MTJ) and Orange County (SNA). The update described winter capacity as nearly identical to 2023–24, daily Denver service at Telluride Regional Airport through the shoulder season, Phoenix flights Thursday through Sunday, and an advertised shoulder fare from $129 each way. Merchant Pass sales were planned for mid-October 2024. These were 2024 announcements, not current schedules, fares or booking instructions.
