LODGING UPDATE

Blues and Brews weekend closed similar to 2023, with a 1% decrease in total occupancy (paid & owner) at 71%, a 2% decrease in paid occupancy, and a flat average daily rate (ADR) of $621. The next two weeks are pacing 5% behind in total occupancy, currently at 46%. Occupancy peaks during the last weekend of September. October total occupancy (through 10/20), is pacing 3% ahead of last year, while paid occupancy is flat. 
 
The winter forecast is similar to last week’s report, with total occupancy pacing 15% ahead of last season, an 8% increase in paid occupancy, and a 3% decrease in ADR. All months are tracking ahead, with the most growth in March (24% ahead), and the least growth in December (9% ahead). Stay tuned for weekly Peak Sheet updates, as these metrics can shift quickly as the winter season approaches. 

AIR UPDATE

Late summer bookings continue to hold strong, with September now 5-7% up and October back to even/just ahead YOY. Summer overall is up 10-12%, with noted added local usage on increased DEN capacity. The winter 24-25 air schedule is all but finalized, with capacities nearly identical to last winter 23-24. We are excited to welcome the recently announced Breeze flights between MTJ and SNA/Orange County, book now at FlyBreeze.com. Additional changes within the winter lineup, as well as maps and schedules, will be updated on the Colorado Flights Alliance site HERE later this week.
