This 2025 event archive introduces the Telluride Mountain Run’s 13-, 24- and 40-mile routes through the San Juan Mountains. The original registration announcement is historical. For an upcoming edition, use the organizer’s course maps, schedule and entry information rather than treating this page as an open registration notice.

The linked course pages now describe later editions. Their dates, route revisions, time limits and aid arrangements should not be read as a reconstruction of every 2025 race detail. The current 24- and 40-mile pages list Telluride Town Park as the start and finish. The current 14-mile page lists an Oak Street Plaza start and Town Park finish. Confirm the edition and distance before using a start location.
The original guide highlighted steep climbs, rocky singletrack, old mining roads, alpine tundra and exposed ridgelines. The organizer characterizes these as technical mountain races and cautions about loose footing, falls, rockfall, difficult route finding and mountain weather. The shorter distance still involves demanding alpine terrain; it should not be presented as suitable for beginners.
Before entering another edition, review the exact course and GPX map, required equipment, cutoff times, aid-station access and weather procedures on the Telluride Mountain Run website. Spectator access and transportation also depend on the chosen route. This archive is an introduction to the event, not a substitute for the organizer’s instructions.
The run connects the town with the surrounding high San Juan terrain. Visitors can use Telluride Tourism Board’s current events calendar to check other activities for their travel dates. Entry availability, current race distances and event schedules must be confirmed with the organizer.
