WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK
Keep those snow dances coming... there are several storms in the forecast for the next week, and we would love to kick off 2024 with some fresh powder on the mountain!
Don't miss the January edition of the Telluride Art Walk tonight from 5 - 8 p.m. at participating galleries around town. Also being held tonight, Telluride Science and Telluride Foundation have teamed up for Artificial Intelligence 101, an AI discussion with Moiz Kohari at the Sheridan Opera House.
Music lovers can enjoy performances by The Motet on Friday and Saturday at the Sheridan Opera House, Pink Fuzz at the Alibi on Friday, or enjoy apres ski jams at the Alibi every Wednesday.
Other fun activities this week include the Mind Blown magic show at the Peaks on Friday, Met HD Opera: Nabucco at the Michael D. Palm Theatre on Saturday, a free wine tasting at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant on Wednesday, or a Food and Wine Pairing Class on Thursday at 221 South Oak.
If you still need to get rid of your Christmas tree, be sure to give it a new life at the San Miguel County Tree Recycling Event. Simply bring your tree to the Ilium Church Camp parking area (near the intersection of Ilium Road and Sunshine Mesa Road) for free disposal through the end of the month. Please make sure all decorations are removed prior to drop-off.
There are so many other great events this week! View more events on the Peak Sheet or our calendar of events. You can also submit your event here.
