Happy Bluegrass week, festivarians! We can't believe it's already the summer solstice and we're about to spend all weekend jamming out in Town Park with Greensky, Sam Bush and so many more of our favorites. We hope to see you at FirstGrass tonight!
While you're not partaking in all of the Bluegrass festivities, be sure to check out everything else going on around town, including more music. Aside from tonight's FirstGrass and Bluegrass Eve, you can also catch the Gold Kings on Thursdays at the old Sheridan Bar, Music on the Green with Rucksack Revolution on Friday, and Kind Hearted Strangers at The Alibi next Tuesday. Next Wednesday's rendition of the Sunset Concert Series is back at the Conference Center Plaza with Certainly So.
Other notable events include historic walking tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, "Sonic 3" for Movies Under the Stars on Saturday in Reflection Plaza, the Summer Situation: Louisiana Boucherie with Will Nolan at the Ah Haa or the San Juan Stories Book Club at the Wilkinson Public Library on Monday, free wine tastings on Wednesdays at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant, and Town Talks on Tuesday at the Telluride Conference Center. Be sure to shop local at the Market on the Plaza on Wednesdays and the Telluride Farmers' Market on Fridays. Plus, if you aren't too hard on your body this weekend, there is also a Blood Drive on Tuesday.
