Via Telluride Tourism Board
Okay, back at those snow dances, people! There are some flakes forecasted for this weekend (starting tomorrow) and we'd love to close out the season with some great powder. Thanks in advance for your groovy moves!
Once you're done dancing, be sure to pick up your daffodils from the Community Table to support the Telluride Historical Museum this week - Sales end Friday and all proceeds benefit the museum and the American Cancer Society (plus we can all use a little sunshine).
The music scene has a lot going on around town this week. Over at The Alibi, catch Nik Parr and the Selfless Lovers on Thursday, Illiterate Light on Friday and Saturday, and the Arts Fishing Club on Sunday. Additionally, the Sheridan Opera House will be hosting Keller Williams tomorrow as well as Latino Night with Armamento Especial on Saturday. For some free tunes, head to the Great Room at the Peaks Resort and Spa nightly Wednesday through Saturday.
If you're looking for some libations, be sure to check out Apres Chalet: A Retro European Ski Party at the Mountain Lodge on Saturday, apres with Tyler Simmons on Thursdays at Communion Wine Bar, and free wine tastings on Wednesdays at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant.
Other noteworthy events include Mind Blown at The Peaks on Friday and Saturday (two showings on Saturday), a screening of Cresta Alta on Friday and Fidelio on Saturday at the Michael D. Palm Theatre, and a book signing event with Anouk Masson Krantz on Friday at The Madeline.
