The Chicago frequency appears as “Daily, Jan 1–2x Weekly”: January is the exception with one or two weekly flights, not a January 1 start date. The graphic does not define the exact holiday windows for Los Angeles and San Francisco. “Year-round” describes that historical schedule and should not be carried forward as a current-service claim. Airline labels can include booking partners; they do not mean each named carrier separately operates the same flight.
The original prose overstated daily availability and attributed the five-weekly service to Los Angeles. The graphic places that five-weekly service at Orange County (SNA), distinct from Los Angeles (LAX). It shows 14 airline-route rows and 12 distinct departure-airport codes. A marketing count of “major hubs” is not the same as either count.
Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) and Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) are different arrival points. Visit Telluride’s transportation guide describes Montrose as approximately 65 miles away. The final journey depends on the property, road conditions, weather and transfer arrangements; a fixed airport-to-door travel time should not be assumed.
The original article suggested checking a DEN–TEX booking against a longer connecting itinerary and using airline partnerships to explore through-ticket options. That remains a comparison to make with the airline for the actual travel dates, including baggage, connection protection and ground transfers. The historic schedule does not verify today’s interline agreements.
A stay near in-town transit or the gondola may allow fewer car trips, but it does not eliminate the airport transfer or every visitor’s need for a vehicle. Consider mobility needs, luggage, children, evening plans and trips outside the towns. Confirm the gondola’s operating season, since maintenance closures occur.
The original article listed 888-605-2578 for visitor assistance, and Visit Telluride continued to display that number when checked September 28, 2026. Use Colorado Flights Alliance, the airports and the operating airline for the present schedule, then arrange ground transportation for the specific arrival and lodging.
