Downtown Telluride, Mountain Village and locations outside town offer different starting points for a search. An in-town address may suit someone who prioritizes galleries, restaurants or Town Park, but walking distance and the route depend on the exact address. Mountain Village buyers may prioritize ski access, views or gondola connections, each of which requires property-specific verification. Acreage and privacy outside town come with actual driving, access and maintenance considerations.
The original suggestion to visit in shoulder season is useful as an observation exercise: inspect afternoon light, walking time, parking, traffic and privacy outside a peak holiday trip. It is not proof that one season is always the best time to tour or that every owner can reach an event without planning.
A public event is available to visitors as well as residents. The calendar may help a buyer understand how a location fits their interests, but it is not an investment model or evidence that a home will hold its value.
