This archive covers New Year’s Eve on December 31, 2025, welcoming 2026. It preserves the original Telluride Tourism Board listings and holiday poster. Prices, reservations, performances and cancellation notices below belong to that past celebration; they are not announcements for December 31, 2026.

The original December 30 article reported that the torchlight parade had been canceled while fireworks remained scheduled for 6:30 p.m., best viewed from the Mountain Village core. The earlier holiday poster below still advertises both a torchlight parade and fireworks. That conflict is preserved as a dated program versus a later cancellation notice; neither is a claim that both events ultimately occurred.
The Tourism Board’s torchlight and fireworks listing is reused for later celebrations and now displays a different event year. Check its date before planning a visit.

| Location | Historical program |
|---|---|
| Sunset Plaza | Alpacas meet-and-greet, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. |
| Reflection Plaza | Rock the Rink DJ party, 3–5 p.m.; DJ skate party, 6:15–8 p.m. |
| Heritage Plaza | 23-foot ice sculpture, all day; light-mapping shows on Madeline Hotel and Residences, 6–6:10 p.m. and 7–7:10 p.m. |
| Telluride Conference Center | Kids activity zone, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.; free Western photo booth, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–5 p.m.; movie series, 7:30 p.m. |
The poster was presented by the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association and Town of Mountain Village. Its December 31 footer advertised the early celebration at 6:30 p.m.; the cancellation update in the original article qualifies that footer.

These are the original advertised arrangements. They do not establish current menus, prices or reservation availability.

The original LIZ poster gives 200 W. Colorado Avenue, Unit 1, across from the clocktower countdown area. The Tourism Board’s archived DJ Harry listing distinguishes doors from the performance time. That dated event page is no longer available at its original address; the current events calendar below is the planning reference for another visit.

The original schedule listed a Main Street closure at 10:30 p.m., DJ Wombat and a street dance at 11:15 p.m., and the countdown with fireworks at 11:59 p.m. Those times describe the plan to welcome 2026, not a recurring schedule.
For a future holiday visit, consult Telluride Tourism Board’s current events calendar, the venue’s own listing and current transportation arrangements. Allow time between dinner and a show, dress for outdoor winter conditions, and confirm reservations and age restrictions directly.
