Choosing where to stay can shape a Telluride visit: an in-town condominium and a Mountain Village resort offer different routines. These five properties appeared in our March 9, 2023 guide. Operator information checked in September 2026 clarifies their identities and amenities; confirm availability, inclusions and seasonal services for your booking.
The Peaks is in Mountain Village at 136 Country Club Drive and promotes ski-in/ski-out access, rooms, suites and residences, plus spa and fitness facilities. The operator’s property fact sheet describes indoor and outdoor heated pools. Our earlier rooftop-pool description was not supported by that source.
Dining, spa treatments and winter recreation were part of the original appeal. Check the current dining outlets, ski storage and activity arrangements directly. The earlier claim of four restaurants and free snowshoeing should not be treated as verified inclusions in every stay.
Madeline, part of Auberge Collection, offers a Mountain Village setting with rooms and residences. Its alpine design, dining, spa and fitness options can suit a resort-focused trip. The operator describes a heated outdoor pool and Alpine Swim Club terrace.
Compare the actual room or residence and the services included with it. The original cinema-room claim was not verified in the operator information used for this update, so confirm any screening or entertainment space before making it part of your plans.
Telluride Lodge is a condominium complex in the Town of Telluride, rather than a Mountain Village hotel. A property manager’s Telluride Lodge guide describes condominium stays and nearby access to the Galloping Goose shuttle. It can be an option for visitors who want an in-town base.
The original guide emphasized a cozy setting, wood-burning fireplaces and pet-friendly lodging. Units and management arrangements differ, so select a listing that explicitly confirms any fireplace, pet permission, accessibility, parking or other feature you need. Those amenities should not have been promised for every unit.
Fairmont’s Franz Klammer Lodge is in Mountain Village and offers two- and three-bedroom residences. Its operator lists spa services and guest assistance; Accor’s property information describes a heated indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs.
For the private terrace, residence layout or ski-valet arrangements highlighted in the older guide, confirm the particular accommodation and current service. The previous unqualified five-star label and suggestion of a hotel inside the Town’s box canyon should not substitute for the actual property location and booking details.
The Lumière suggestion now corresponds to Lumière by Dunton, at 118 Lost Creek Lane in Mountain Village. The operator describes 18 residences at the base of Lift 4. Its small residential setting offers a different choice from a larger resort hotel.
The original highlighted ski access, artful interiors and outdoor space. Check the selected residence’s balcony or terrace and the current ski services; do not assume each layout has identical features or that ski access operates outside the ski season.
